Nephrogenic systemic fibrosis (NSF) is a severe dermopathy that occurs in patients with renal failure and have been exposed to contrast agents containing gadolinium. This study reviews 17 patients with NSF, 11 of whom received a kidney transplant. Transplantation did not lead to complete reversal of the changes of NSF.
